Middle School Volleyball Coach Duties/Responsibilities- Conduct daily workouts and practices
- Attend all practices and volleyball games
- Supervise and instruct student-athletes during all team activities
- Prepare the volleyball facility for all home matches
- Promote balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administrators
- Assist the varsity coach in building the volleyball program and plan for its future
- CPR / First Aid Training, Fundamentals of Coaching Training, Health and Safety for Coaches, and Concussion Training preferred
- Complete orientation through human resources including fingerprinting and background checks
- Within three years of hiring, successful completion of the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) course and test entitled "Basic Virginia High School League Course" accessible at will be completed.
