Assists the Director of Track and Field/Cross Country in the administration and leadership of the Radford University Division I Cross Country and Track and Field Program by providing coaching and instruction, recruiting, and facilitation of training and practice activities specific to the men and women’s jump events and women’s combined events.
Required QualificationsCoaching and/or recruiting experience in track & field at the collegiate level. Ability to demonstrate and teach advanced skills, knowledge, and strategies related to the jumping and combined events; knowledge of NCAA recruiting and compliance procedures; ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment as to the manner and method of teaching and the ability to work independently without direct supervision; excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience at the Division I level.
