The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies seeks qualified applicants to teach undergraduate courses on an as‑needed basis in either philosophy or religious studies. Adjunct Faculty teach undergraduate courses according to their areas of expertise that support the department's undergraduate major program, one or more of the department's five undergraduate minors, and the university's general education curriculum. The availability of course assignments for Adjunct Faculty and the specific types of courses vary from semester to semester.

Teach undergraduate courses in philosophy or religious studies on an as‑needed basis, supporting the department and university curricula.

All faculty must have at least a Master’s degree in the relevant field or discipline and 18 credit hours of coursework related to the course(s) being taught. In some cases, with Provost approval, significant experience may substitute for the degree.
