Job Description
The Prevention Specialist, performs advanced professional and administrative work to prevent violence and substance abuse by training and educating community and student groups; provides advanced consultative services to youth and adults in the community, and conducts student groups in schools. Work involves extensive public speaking, curriculum/program research and development, provision of training, and program delivery and evaluation. Develops and fosters community coalition and partnership activities where appropriate.
StartingSalary: $39,000-$48,850
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field or education is required.
- Experience with public speaking and presentations is required.
