Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Quality Engineer II for their Refaedford, MI location.
Responsibilities- Keeps management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems
- Drive issues to closure through the various quality feedback loops
- Analyzes assembly process data to look for trends or possible upcoming concerns.
- Works with Advanced Quality Tools (i.e., PFMEAs) to ensure a quality assembly process
- Analyzes SPC data and works with manufacturing engineering to make process improvements
- Knowledge of GD&T and CMM operations
- Facilitate others in the executions of Quality Improvement activities
- To work in a plant environment, working hands-on with engine assembly
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Requires working knowledge and expanded professional experience in job field
- Requires understanding of key business drivers
- Works independently within guidelines and policies to solve problems of moderate complexity
- Provides in normal guidance to new team members
- May lead projects or processes as required
- Product knowledge of transmissions, Axles, Engines
- SPC/MSA/PFMEA experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Requires a bachelor’s degree, relevant to engineering is preferred, and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a QA role and general experience and understanding of a manufacturing environment.
- Requires working knowledge and expanded professional experience in job field.
- Requires understanding of key business drivers.
- Experience with PFMEAs, Knowledge of GD&T and CMM operations
- Experience in manufacturing environment.
- Potentially consider candidates with a wealth of experience but no degree.
- Product knowledge of transmissions, Axles, Engines
- SPC/MSA/PFMEA experience.
- Problem solving skills ability to lead meetings, deeply involved with Alex, ability to collaborate and manage various personalities.
- Ability to produce campaigns and finding solutions for problems that arise throughout the day.
