This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
Summary
The Material Handler II supports all aspects of material presentation and internal delivery within Radford Operations. Supports all phases of manufacturing related to MRP, MPS, Kanban maintenance, FIFO, cycle counts and scrap disposition. This position will be joining the Kollmorgen team in Radford, VA. Kollmorgen is a brand of Regal Rexnord.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with manufacturing and management to implement the best material presentation for various types of inventory replenishment programs.
- Accurately completes and closes production orders including resolving shortages issues.
- Executes and dispositions approved Excess and Obsolete lists.
- Works directly with Planners/buyers to resolve pending material issues.
- Responsible for picking and staging of standard work for the production line.
- Completes and communicates daily Kanban audit sheets.
- Stocks all incoming material in the appropriate location while applying FIFO management.
- Work individually or in teams to set up areas and locations for material stocking.
- Responsible for the accurate transactions/transfers between various facilities.
- Operates daily on MRP and MPS systems with full and complete knowledge.
- Create spreadsheets and documentation as required for manufacturing and management.
- Able to perform a detailed inventory analysis and thorough root cause analysis, drive actions to correct and resolve.
- Participate in Altra Business System events and applies those tools to daily management.
- Must be able to work independently and/or as a team member.
- Must be willing to be trained to operate a forklift and box truck.
- Other duties as directed.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with MRP Systems preferred, but not required.
- Prior forklift and box truck experience preferred but will train and certify.
- Good written and verbal communications skills are required.

The employee frequently needs to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally, the employee must climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

This role follows an Onsite Work Schedule and requires working from your designated Regal Rexnord office on a full-time basis.
Expected Base Salary Range: [$36,]
The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
This role may be filled at different levels depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and business needs.
