opportunity with Yoh’s manufacturing plants located in
Radford, VA. This employee is responsible for providing ergonomic assessment, wellness program administration, and on-site treatment and management of injuries to minimize the need for off-site medical treatment.
Monday-Friday6am-2pm
Duration:4 months with possible extension or permanent placement
Pay:$60-73/hr (NP) $35-47/hr (RN) DOE
What You’ll Be Doing:- Provides on-site care and follow-up to occupationally injured/ill workers.
- Responsible for maintaining OSHA records as well as following OSHA guidelines.
- Maintains a medical record database and provides reports to management, as needed.
- Performs First Aid/CPR/AED training as directed by client.
- Maintains communication with the Clinic Physician regarding employee updates.
- Provides injury care with the Incident Intervention after-hours service.
- Provides counseling to employees on employment risk reduction activities.
- Ensures that employees have appropriate return-to-work clearances.
- Coordinates employee new hire exams, medical surveillance and exit exams.
- Leads and provides health and safety training such as ergonomics, blood borne pathogen, hearing conservation, and hazard communication.
- Case management of occupational illness/injury.
- Case management of lost-time/absent employees for occupational and non-occupational injuries.
- Coordinates regulatory testing (drug screening, hearing tests, respirator fit tests and medical evaluations) and maintains employee lists for regulatory compliance, if needed.
- MSN, BSN, or ASN degree
- Active NP/RN license to practice in VA
- Experience in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency, Urgent Care, or related
- BLS upon hire
