Job Summary
We are hiring immediately for a full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position at Radford University. Address: 801 East Main St, Radford VA 24142.

Schedule:
Full time schedule. Varying shifts are available between 6:00 AM and 1:00 AM. Open availability is preferred. Nights, weekends, and Sundays are required.
Pay Rate: $16.30 per hour.
Perks include:
Complimentary shift meals, free fountain beverages, coffee, tea, and bottled water. Parking payment can be auto‑deducted from payroll. Payroll deduction is available for shoes for crews. Shift differential pay is available for hours worked between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM.
- Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
- Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers, and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
- Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
- May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as winter and summer breaks when food service needs decline or cease). Any such periods during which you do not perform work on the Company’s behalf may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff.
However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work year‑round, potentially at a different location during break periods. Business needs may vary from year to year.
