BS Degree in Business related field

GOCO / FAR / MMAS compliance / Supply Chain / Shipping

• Prepares shipments for conveyance; determines most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery
• Checks items to be shipped against request to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct
• Maintains department database, prepares routine reports, and files shipping/receiving records
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous improvement objectives, and safety, and environmental standards
• Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned
• Examines shipment contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy
• Requisition s and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
• Prepares documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials
• Conferences or corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, defects, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications
• Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or record‑keeping purposes
