Job Summary

The Coordinator – Tank wash manages the daily operations of cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting industrial tank trailers for hazardous, non‑hazardous, or food‑grade materials. Key responsibilities include scheduling wash bays, managing customer service, preparing documentation (wash tickets/PO), ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the daily workload, prioritizing tanks for cleaning to ensure efficient turnaround times.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers, providing updates on tank status and resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage wash tickets, and generate reports on cleaning activities and metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, including OSHA and environmental guidelines, during the cleaning process.
  • Perform daily digital yard checks, verifying trailers in RMS and supporting the terminal for scheduling.
  • Request PO's and wash tickets.
  • Assist customers and drivers.

Requirements

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and technicians.
  • Previous experience in a fast‑paced office setting or automotive environment is often preferred.
  • Knowledge of computers, MS Office/Excel, and wash management software.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
  • Full‑time position, hours are M‑F 7 am‑3:30 pm.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.
