Senior Specialist, Business Analyst, Launch Planning
The Senior Specialist, Business Analyst, Launch Planning serves as a subject‑matter expert in business analysis and process design for Strategy and Planning and Launch Planning capabilities within the Content Supply Chain Orchestration team. This role applies depth of expertise to shape high‑quality requirements, recommend effective approaches, and support consistent execution across business processes and solutions.
Key Accountabilities- Business Analysis and Requirements Management – Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for Strategy and Planning and Launch Planning solutions; translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and functional requirements; drive backlog refinement and scope clarity in partnership with product and technology teams.
- Process Design and Continuous Improvement – Analyze current‑state workflows and identify opportunities to improve planning processes, reduce complexity, and drive standardization across launch planning activities; document future‑state processes and recommend best‑practice improvements.
- Solution Delivery and Testing Support – Drive execution excellence during solution delivery by clarifying requirements, resolving questions, and partnering with delivery teams through design, build, testing, and deployment; contribute to test planning, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and readiness activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Change Support – Provide advisory support to cross‑functional stakeholders to align requirements, communicate impacts, and guide adoption of new or enhanced planning capabilities; prepare clear documentation, communications, and analysis materials that enable informed decisions; support change management activities to help users understand process changes and new ways of working.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, standards definition, compliance requirements translation, or solution design within regulated enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and validate business requirements, translate them into process and solution recommendations, and provide informed guidance on effective implementation approaches.
- Experience supporting planning workflows, launch processes, or cross‑functional business operations, preferably in content, marketing, or related enterprise environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business and technology teams to align on scope, priorities, and expected outcomes.
- Experience with process mapping, user story development, workflow documentation, testing support, and change impact assessment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to identify gaps, evaluate options, and advise on practical, compliant, and scalable solutions.
- Preferred experience with Adobe Workfront or similar enterprise workflow and planning platforms.
- Strong business analysis and requirements management skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear process, workflow, and solution requirements.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills across business and technology teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work with ambiguity.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement and reliable execution.
- Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, technology, life sciences, or a related field. - Preferred:
Relevant certifications or equivalent practical experience in business analysis or process improvement.
- Business requirements are clearly defined, actionable, and aligned to stakeholder needs.
- Planning workflows and solutions show measurable improvement in clarity, consistency, and usability.
- Solution releases are supported with effective testing, stakeholder readiness, and adoption follow‑through.
- Stakeholders view the role as a trusted expert who provides practical guidance, strong structure, and reliable execution.
