Position: Product Line Lead (Director) - Agentic OS Platform

Overview

Merck, a research‑intensive biopharmaceutical company, is searching for a strategic leader to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Agentic OS platform – an AI‑agent framework for managing clinical trials. The role involves building core infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enabling business users to deploy agents that streamline trial execution and automate operational workflows.

Responsibilities

    Roadmap:

    Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for Agentic OS, aligning with enterprise AI and business objectives.
  • Champion the Business User: Design intuitive, low‑code/no‑code experiences that allow stakeholders to configure, prompt, and deploy AI agents.
  • Data Management Strategy: Oversee predefined data connectors so agents can securely access, interpret, and act upon enterprise data.
  • Drive Development: Partner with Engineering and UX/UI teams to deliver robust, scalable, user‑centric platform features on time.
  • Security & Governance: Work with Info Sec and Data Governance to meet strict security, privacy, and compliance standards.
  • Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to end‑of‑life.
  • Team Building: Hire, mentor, and lead a high‑performing product team.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary evangelist for Agentic OS, building partnerships with business leaders to identify high‑value use cases.
  • Adoption & Enablement: Drive internal go‑to‑market strategy, creating training programs, documentation, and adoption metrics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field.
  • Seven or more years of product management experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or PaaS, with at least two years in a director or team leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of AI, LLMs, and emerging agentic AI.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise platforms with complex data integrations, APIs, and connectors.
  • Experience delivering low‑code/no‑code or workflow automation solutions for business users.
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into clear business value for C‑level executives and engineering teams.
