Position Title:

Director of Early Childhood Education

Salary:
Salary of $128,000 in accordance with the contract (Step
1)

Position Overview:

Rahway Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to serve as Director of Early Childhood Education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student success, collaboration, and fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. This role plays a vital part in supporting the district's mission to provide high-quality education and services to all students.

Qualifications:

* NJ Principal or School Administrator Certification.

* NJ Teacher of P-3 or Elementary Teacher Certification.

* Successful experience as an administrator or supervisor.

* A minimum of five (5) years of successful administrative experience with Early Childhood Education and/or building level experience.

* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of early childhood education, curriculum development and program evaluation, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning of young children.
