Job Description

The US/GHQ Asset Management Specialist’s scope encompasses three primary areas. They are responsible for approving the taxonomy, metadata, and classification of the company’s digital assets; determining the access and usage of these assets within their area of responsibility; and acquiring permission to use specific classes of assets that are copyrighted by publishers.

The successful candidate will join the Global Content Management team and will be the “go to” person for their assigned brands. They will collaborate with creative agencies and job owners to manage, store, share, and re‑use content and assets in our promotional materials through the Veeva Promo Mats digital asset management system. A key responsibility is ensuring compliance with copyright agreements for assets stored in Promo Mats and, when necessary, working with our company copyright attorneys to resolve copyright concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Approve taxonomy, metadata, and classification of digital assets.
  • Determine access and usage rules for digital assets within their area of responsibility.
  • Acquire permission to use specific classes of copyrighted assets from publishers.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Library, Business, and/or Information Science.
  • Available to work in the U.S. time zones (EST preferred).
  • Experience in library science or digital asset management and related copyright management.
  • Knowledge of media usage rights and licensing.
  • Experience working with print and/or multi‑channel production files.
  • Ability to operate independently while managing multiple projects.
  • Effective communication, training, and presentation skills for internal marketing teams and external agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to acquire new skills quickly.
  • Collaboration and efficiency within cross‑functional teams.
  • Highly detail‑oriented, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Experience with digital asset management systems.
  • Familiarity with Veeva Promo Mats.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and promotional material review processes.

The salary range for this role is $79,200.00 - $. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, health‑care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, including 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and compassionate and sick days.
