Pay: Up to $125k

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a mechanical or industrial manufacturing environment, with strong technical skills and a passion for process improvement. Experience in the medical device industry is highly preferred.



Key Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings and specifications to assess feasibility and lead times.
• Communicate with customers regarding clarifications on drawings and tolerances.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct experiments and collect data to develop or improve manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and apply Six Sigma methodologies.
• Validate new or modified equipment and ensure proper preventive maintenance is in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Related Discipline Desired.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or industrial manufacturing setting required.
• Experience in the medical device or other highly regulated industry strongly preferred.
• Proficient in CAD and/or Solid Works.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with machining equipment (mills, lathes, grinders) and CNC machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills with tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt training preferred.
