Overview

We are seeking an experienced engineer to design low-voltage and integrated technology systems — including security, communications, audiovisual, and fire/life safety — across new construction, renovations, and upgrades. This role primarily supports projects within correctional facilities, prisons, courthouses, and other justice-related buildings. The ideal candidate will manage multiple concurrent projects from concept through closeout, serving as a technical leader and client-facing resource.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead system design, field assessments, and preparation of project deliverables for low-voltage and integrated technology systems
  • Manage the full project lifecycle including design development, documentation, budgeting, scheduling, and closeout
  • Ensure code compliance and maintain quality control of all drawings, specifications, and design documents
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams
  • Oversee project schedules, vendor relationships, and staff engineers assigned to project teams
  • Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and site observations
  • Contribute to business development efforts and stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends
