Director, Global Scientific & Value Content - Payor

The Director, Global Scientific & Value Content (Dir GSVC), position resides in the Value & Implementation (V&I) organization, which includes Global Medical and Scientific Affairs as well as Outcomes Research.

The Dir GSVC is responsible for, but not limited to, the following GSVC core functions, which have a global scope and impact:

• Actively engaging with key stakeholders in the creation and adaptation of the V&I Planning and Scientific Platform, which provides the framework for GSVC Annual Product and Disease State Plans.
• Developing and adapting annual GSVC plans for one or more products and disease states aligned with the annual V&I Plans.
• Engaging key stakeholders and incorporating medical insights into GSVC annual product plans
• Leading the development, review, approval, and communication of individual GSVC content within V&I.
• The Dir GSVC will also provide a high degree of mentoring within a designated key complex TA.
• The Dir GSVC will report directly into the Sr Director, Payor Team Lead, GSVC.

• Shapes and informs the creation and adaptation of the V&I Plans and Scientific Platform.
• Creates, adapts and prioritizes annual GSVC Product Plan(s) aligned with V&I Plan/Scientific Platform and informed through insights and feedback from key internal stakeholders cross-functionally and worldwide.
• Executes GSVC Plans that include, but are not limited to, medical information letters, frequently asked questions (FAQs), disease- and product-related slide decks, global congress medical booth materials, and digital/web-based medical content.

• Authors or delegates the development of GSVC content that aligns to annual GSVC plan(s) and V&I Plans and Scientific Platform.
• Reviews GSVC materials to ensure they are relevant, scientifically accurate, and consistent with cited appropriate scientific literature, internal scientific information, and company values and standards.
• Ensures appropriate stakeholders are engaged in the development, review and approval of GSVC materials. For the Payor team, this includes attending CRT prioritization meetings and managing the submission, review and approval of CRT reviewed content.
• Communicates to key stakeholders (e.g., Medical Information, Global Medical and Scientific Affairs Payor & Health System ) of GSVC approved content.
• Drives creation of materials that can be leveraged globally as a strategic content partner of the Outcomes Research (OR); obtains insights on the payer landscape from countries and translates requirements.

• Is a key subject-matter expert in a product or disease area to lead product-related projects/initiatives that directly impact the V&I Plan product strategy and objectives to meet external customer needs. Drives the solution of complex problems through identification of innovative solutions and is a go-to person within the core GSVC team for colleagues across stakeholder departments. Mentors/empowers or leads GSVC P3/P4 staff to develop within their functional roles.

• Leads training to internal stakeholders on key GSVC-developed disease and product content in alignment and coordination with Knowledge Management and V&I Global Medical and Value Capabilities (V&I GMVC) Global Scientific Training (GST) team/Field Medical organization.

• Partners with GSVC Team Lead and other key stakeholders [e.g., Publications, Medical Directors, Payor & Health System Medical Affairs Directors (P&HS-MADs) for Oncology, Compliance, Product Development Team (PDT), Outcomes Research] across the globe to ensure team assets are available and aligned with V&I and GSVC plans and meet the needs of external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Builds collaborative relationships across divisions and regions as a global scientific partner with key stakeholders to provide broad impact and provide scientific resources that inform patient-care, formulary and treatment decisions. Leads and executes complex cross-functional initiatives independently, which directly contribute to the strategy and objectives of GSVC and the vision of broader V&I stakeholders.
