Senior Scrum Master
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Senior Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. At our company, we are at the forefront of research to deliver innovative health solutions for the prevention and treatment of diseases in people and animals. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will facilitate agile processes, coach teams, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes within the IT Risk Management and Security organization.
Responsibilities- Facilitate all agile events, ensuring they are positive, productive, and time-boxed while fostering an agile spirit and practice.
- Coach and mentor team members to foster continuous improvement.
- Help teams identify and remove impediments, promote self-organization and accountability.
- Develop strong working relationships across functional areas and with all levels and geographic regions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Managers, and other stakeholders to align on goals and priorities, and present status updates to senior officials.
- Track and report team performance metrics, using data to drive improvements and inform stakeholders.
- Mediate conflicts within teams and between teams and stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative environment.
- Identify potential risks and facilitate discussions to develop mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile framework practitioner within an Information Technology environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple teams and delivering complex IT initiatives.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools, including Target Process, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills to drive continuous improvement across teams.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach to decision making.
- Financial acumen to support forecasting and track vendor invoices and purchase orders in partnership with leadership.
- Ability to travel up to 15% if needed.
- Prior experience serving in a Project Manager role.
- Experience functioning as a Scrum Master within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment.
- Relevant certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A‑CSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).

Salary Range$ – $ (annual base). Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual bonus and, where applicable, long‑term incentives.
