Inventory Manager Clinical Supplies Project Manager

The Global Clinical Supply (GCS) organization manages the end‑to‑end integrated clinical supply chain for all clinical trials. This role is part of the GCS Planning organization and is responsible for creating strategic and operational plans for the downstream activities of clinical supplies for assigned studies. The incumbent must understand the full product development process, ensure stable supply for patients, and deliver materials efficiently to clinical sites worldwide.

• Collaborate with the Clinical Trial Team and cross‑functional partners to negotiate timelines and strategy for clinical supplies.
• Establish timelines for clinical supply needs per protocol and ensure robust signals for packaging and distribution of Clinical Finished Goods (CFGs).
• Analyze and anticipate clinical study risks related to supply chain deliverables; develop mitigation strategies for review with clinical partners and senior leaders.
• Utilize tools and systems such as IRT, Microsoft Power Apps, SWMS, Veeva, MEDS, My Learning and SAP to maintain consolidated forecasts for CFGs.
• Report clinical supply chain incidents, gather metrics, and participate in root‑cause analysis for operational improvements.
• Participate in the initiation and timely processing of change controls, deviation records, and investigations in accordance with GCS SOPs and QMS procedures.
• Contribute to compliance activities, SOP/BP development, cross‑functional projects, and regulatory agency inspections as required.
• Apply analytical skills to solve unstructured problems, make risk‑based decisions, and influence portfolio decisions with data and facts.
• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, rapid decision making, ethics, and integrity while balancing strategic and tactical execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, scientific discipline, or high school diploma with 10+ years of equivalent industry experience in pharmaceutical clinical supply.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, coordination, and processing of supply chain activities (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and clinical customer relationship management.
• Technical proficiency with supply chain systems (SAP or Oracle), demand‑planning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities with data‑driven decision making.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset, proactive in identifying process inefficiencies.
• Knowledge of GMP and GCP is highly desirable.

• Experience with order management, supply‑chain operations, and document control.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of portfolio and risk management in a clinical supply context.
