Associate Technician, Operations
Location:
Rahway, NJ (100% on‑site)
Shift: 2nd – Evening (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday)
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, operate, and clean equipment and facilities used in clinical development and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain, inventory, and transport required processing equipment, materials, supplies, and products.
- Execute all documentation and clerical functions necessary to maintain GMP operations, using paper‑based and electronic systems.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of process equipment and operations; troubleshoot equipment/systems to resolve issues and aid in technology and process development, and provide feedback to improve systems and processes.
- Attend and actively participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives to enhance flexibility, efficiency, and compliance.
- Support investigations and implementation of corrective/preventative actions.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or higher.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Equipment HMI, SAP, and Calibration/Maintenance Database Systems.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, twisting, climbing ladders, and wearing cleanroom protective gowning with respirators.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required in manufacturing.
- Experience with machine operations, electronics, or similar technology.
- Bio Work Certificate (for working in an FDA or similar regulated industry).
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Salary Range: $45,900 – $72,200 per year
Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
