Required:

• Minimum of one (1) year of critical care experience; ED experience preferred.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or active Compact RN License with New Jersey endorsement
• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• CEN preferred
• BSN preferred

• Evening Shift
• Per Diem, 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM, required 1 weekend a month, holiday rotations

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, adhering to ANA code of ethics.
• Maintain safety in practice and collaborate with the patient care team, advancing knowledge through communication and utilization of resources.
• Report identified safety issues and medical errors.
• Understand the patient population served.
• Supervise and direct the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborate with other care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with appropriate interventions and measurable outcomes.
• Utilize the nursing process to individualize the plan of care and manage care within the interdisciplinary team.
