Location: Rahway, NJ
Shift: Full-Time | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Salary: Up to $105,000 per year
AboutThe Role
Adroit Care Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Unit Manager (RN) to lead clinical operations on a fast-paced nursing unit. This leadership role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality resident care.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily nursing operations and unit workflow
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance
- Conduct annual performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs; administer disciplinary action as needed
- Participate in state surveys and inspections and maintain compliance with all regulations
- Monitor medication administration, care plans, and treatment schedules
- Lead investigations of incidents and grievances with proper documentation and follow-up
- Collaborate with physicians, MDS, and social services to support resident care and discharge planning
- Monitor admissions and re-admissions to help reduce hospitalization risks
- Active RN license in the State of New Jersey
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or nursing facility
- At least 6 months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing
