Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU Evenings

Location: RWJ Rahway Hospital, 865 Stone Street, Rahway, NJ 07065

Department: Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Shift: Evening (9:30 AM – 8:00 PM)

Pay Range: $48.29 – $65.06 per hour

• An active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement is required.
• An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS/PALS certification is required.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• A minimum of one (1) year of Critical Care experience is required; PACU experience is preferred.

• Full‑time Evening shift.
• Four 10‑hour shifts per week.
• Shift hours: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM.

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized, age‑specific professional care to patients within the unit, supporting the hospital's mission and adhering to professional standards. Responsibilities include patient teaching, discharge planning, and participation in unit performance improvement activities.
