The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, upholding ethical standards as per the ANA Code of Ethics. The RN ensures safety in practice, applies evidence‑based principles, and actively contributes to performance improvement activities. The RN is responsible for identifying safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors, delegating patient care appropriately, and collaborating effectively with nurses and other patient care providers.

The RN will also act in the capacity of preceptor or charge nurse when needed. The Noninvasive Cardiology RN encompasses Cardiac Rehab and/or Stress Testing.

• The RN provides nursing care within the scope of practice as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• The RN ensures safety in practice and adheres to evidence‑based practices, maintaining awareness of the scope and personal knowledge level.
• The RN reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• The RN maintains knowledge of the patient population served.
• The RN supervises and delegates tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.
• The RN sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• The RN integrates all aspects of care, individualizes the plan of care, and utilizes the nursing process to address a specific patient’s needs.

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program, current New Jersey RN License.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in ICU/Critical Care.
• Preference for 2+ years direct Cardiac or Non‑Invasive Cardiac Experience.
• Graduated EKG, BLS via the American Heart Association, and ACLS Certification.
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the hospital to meet response time requirements for call shifts.
