Job Overview

Pharmaceutical Analytical Sciences group is hiring a second-shift Scientist based in Rahway, NJ (3:00pm–11:30pm). The role focuses on GMP release and stability testing, method validation, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration to support API and formulation development.

• Execute GMP activities, including release and stability testing for APIs, pharmaceutical formulations, and manufacturing processes using advanced analytical tools.
• Document experimental execution, procedures, results, and conclusions in accordance with ALCOA principles.
• Troubleshoot and investigate challenges associated with GMP testing in collaboration with cross‑functional project teams and Quality stakeholders.
• Validate and implement analytical methods to support release and stability testing of clinical materials.
• Perform data entry, review, and author analytical reports or data summaries.
• Collaborate closely with Analytical R&D colleagues and partners such as Global Development Quality, Process Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Operations.
• Support compliance audit and inspection activities.

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related Life Sciences.
• Minimum of 3 years industry experience (or 1 year if holding a Master of Science degree).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working in a team environment with cross‑functional interactions.

• Hands‑on experience in GMP operations, advanced chromatographic separation science, spectroscopy analysis, dissolution testing, and other analytical techniques.
• Experience with Empower, data science, and LCMS.

Salary range: $87,300–$137,400 per year, commensurate with experience. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive (if applicable). Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, other insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, vacation, compassionate and sick days.
