We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Digital Insights team within the Development Sciences and Clinical Supply (DSCS) Digital Technologies organization. Digital is the multiplier that will allow DSCS to deliver better experiments faster, efficient filing and launch, more robust supply chains and higher-confidence decisions across the portfolio. The DSCS Digital Technologies organization is responsible for the invention and application of new digital tools/workflows to support scientists across drug substance development, drug product development and analytical development.

We aspire to embed digital technologies into the fabric of DSCS culture to drive transformational impact.

The Omics Platforms team within Digital Insights group, is seeking applicants for a Senior Computational Biologist with a strong background in proteomics and multi-omics data integration to join our team. Within the Omics Platforms team, the development, validation and implementation of Omics technology and creation of analysis platforms is a key activity. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate in a dynamic, integrated, and multidisciplinary team environment working across our biologics, vaccine, and small molecule pipeline.

* Responsibilities include:

* + Working within an interdisciplinary team of scientists to perform and support omics analysis of the biomanufacturing processes.

+ Be intrinsically involved in performing and supporting proteomics and metabolomics data analysis and multi-omics data integration across various pipeline programs.

+ Design, develop and adapt computational approaches and pipelines for novel applications.

+ Democratize data access for non-computational stakeholders through building interactive dashboards and developing and maintaining databases.

+ Author technical documents and reports according to current regulatory requirements and business practices.

+ Working across teams in a matrix structure, manage stakeholder relationships across IT, Analytical, Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality and Regulatory partners.

+ Embody FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) to maintain a well-documented, reproducible, and versioned codebase.

+ Thrive within multi-disciplinary global teams to communicate scientific findings in an exciting fast-paced environment to drive progress.

* Education Requirements:

*
* + A Ph.D. (Graduation September 2026 or before) in Biology or related life sciences degree with a strong bioinformatic component or a computational biology or related degree with a strong biology component.

+ M.S. in Biology or related life sciences degree with a strong bioinformatic component or a computational biology or related degree with a strong biology component with a minimum of 2+ years experience.

+ B.S. in Biology or related life sciences degree with a strong bioinformatic component or a computational biology or related degree with a strong biology component with a minimum of 4+ years experience.

** Required Experience*
* + Strong programming experience (e.g. R, Python, Nextflow, Bash scripting, etc.).

+ Experience working in cloud computing environments and managing data and workflows.

+ Experience working with version control tools such as git (e.g. Git Hub, Bit Bucket).

+ Strong background in computational methods in one or more omics methods and technologies (e.g. proteomics, metabolomics, genomics, transcriptomics).

+ Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication skills are required.

* Preferred Experience:

* + Experience analyzing proteomics and metabolomics data.

+ Familiarity with transcriptomics analysis methods (e.g. bulk and single-cell).

+

Experience with pathway analysis, host cell protein characterization, post-translational modification (PTM) characterization, and  _in silico_  immunogenicity screening.

+ Familiarity with data integration methods for multi-omics work (e.g. proteomics/metabolomics with transcriptomics)

+

Experience with metabolic modeling and 13C metabolic flux analysis in CHO systems.

+

Experience with genome assembly (viral, bacterial, eukaryotic).

+ Experience in GxP or GMP environments is advantageous but not essential.

+ Familiarity or experience with relevant "bench" methods (e.g. proteomics, mass-spec, sequencing library preparation, microbial culturing).
