The Senior Scientist will work with a team of scientists to identify, develop, and deploy digital and data‑rich technologies to improve process, product, and analytical understanding across our company's small molecule, biologics, and vaccine portfolio. The focus is on high‑throughput experimentation and lab automation for drug product and substance development.

• Design the lab of the future – develop high‑throughput technologies that integrate robotics, analytical instrumentation, and software into cohesive, high‑performing solutions.
• Deliver world‑renowned science – partner with researchers to understand experimental needs and convert them into scalable digital workflows.
• Work at the intersection of multiple disciplines – collaborate with automation, data science, modeling, IT, and the CMC community.
• Lead high‑impact projects – from concept through deployment, working across teams and stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Continuously improve – existing digital technologies and automation platforms to enhance performance, usability, and reliability.
• Empower others – provide hands‑on partnership, support, troubleshooting, and training to scientists using these technologies.

• Ph.D. in Chemical/Biochemical/Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field (expected graduation by September 2026)
• M.S. in Chemical/Biochemical/Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field with at least 2 years of industrial/pharmaceutical or relevant experience
• B.S. in Chemical/Biochemical/Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field with at least 4 years of industrial/pharmaceutical or relevant experience

• Relevant working experience in drug product and/or drug substance development supporting biologics and/or vaccines
• Hands‑on experience with high‑throughput lab automation technologies to streamline formulation and/or bioprocess development
• Hands‑on experience with biochemical and biophysical analytical technologies commonly used in drug product development
• Demonstrated entrepreneurship skills aimed at delivering impactful novel technologies to key stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrated creativity, and effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver complex solutions under compressed timelines in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work in a team environment with cross‑functional interactions

• Hands‑on experience with development and implementation of high‑throughput lab automation technologies for formulation or bioprocess development
• Experience with design of experiments, data science, and data engineering tools to accelerate formulation or bioprocess development
• Experience in new technology research with a track record of identifying, developing, and deploying data‑rich tools and methodologies
• Evidence of cross‑functional collaboration in an academic or industrial setting
• Motivated to learn new skills, willingness to take on new challenges, and scientific curiosity
