Job Title
Support of analytical testing and chromatography data collection on samples from small molecule & peptide development/characterization.
Other activities include screening methods, and optimization using liquid chromatography modelling software’s.
Qualifications- BS (3+ yrs) or MS (1+ yr) of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or small molecule testing lab
- Must have separations experience for small molecules/peptides
- Experience in analyzing small molecule formulation development samples and/or other therapeutic modalities using at least one of the following techniques:
- Liquid Chromatography (HPLC / UPLC)
- Such as:
Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Ion Exchange Chromatography (IEX, AEX, CEX), Reverse Phase (RP), or Hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC)
- Such as:
- Liquid Chromatography (HPLC / UPLC)
- Experience in analyzing small molecule formulation development samples and/or other therapeutic modalities using at least one of the following techniques:
- Spectroscopic techniques (UV, Mass Spectrometry)
- General knowledge of analytical chemistry
- Making accurate reagent preparations (dilutions / solutions / buffers / mobile phases)
- Good documentation practice & utilization in electronic lab notebooks (ELN)
- Analytical software including Empower, Open Lab and/or Chemstation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams, etc.)
- Knowledge of ACD Labs tools such as LC-SIM, Autochrome, or any computer coding language is a plus
- Onsite, lab based role.
- Key must-have skills:
Experience with liquid chromatography, including running instruments, preparing samples, collecting/processing data, and understanding chromatography modes. - Preferred background:
Pharma experience is preferred, but broader chemical lab experience is acceptable. - Data and compliance expectations:
Candidate should have strong data handling practices and be comfortable working in GMP/GLP environments.
- Analysis of analytical samples
- Results processing and documentation by following appropriate methods / protocols / procedures
- Sample & data management following best practices
- Following all appropriate laboratory safety and hygiene procedures
