Role:
Participate in a 4-6 month co-op in molecular modeling or cheminformatics within drug discovery, contributing to research projects or team efforts.
Responsibilities:Employ data, models, and computational methods (e.g., docking, molecular dynamics, machine learning) to support hypothesis-driven drug discovery; gain exposure to research across drug development stages.
Requirements:Pursuing BS/BA or Master’s/Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, informatics, or related fields; at least 2 years of BS/BA or 1 year of graduate studies completed; enrolled at the time of application and continuing education during the placement; strong academic record, programming skills preferred.
High Value:Research in molecular modeling/cheminformatics relevant to drug discovery, with focus on computational approaches; potential for involvement in early-stage to preclinical research.
Work Setup:Multiple U.S. locations (Rahway NJ, Boston MA, West Point PA, South San Francisco CA); no travel required.
