Salary:
As per the negotiated agreement:

* Step 1 with High School Diploma: $23,833.60

* With Associate Degree or Substitute Teacher Certification: $26,569.60

Terms:

10-month position

Minimum Requirements

* High School Diploma

* Ability to communicate effectively with the public (verbally and in writing)

* Proficiency in basic computer skills

* Proficiency in surveillance camera operations, two-way radio, and intercom systems (preferred)

* CPR/AED Certification (must be obtained within the first 12 months of employment)

* De-escalation and Restraint Certification (must be obtained within the first 12 months of employment)

Rahway Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to serve as a Safety Monitor. This role plays a vital part in supporting the district's mission to provide high-quality education and services to all students.
