Global Workplace and Enterprise Services is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Logistics Coordinator role to work onsite in our Rahway, NJ, Warehouse.
Job DescriptionThe transportation coordinator manages the daily activities of the warehouse supply chain. Using organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills, the incumbent will coordinate transportation, warehousing, and delivery activities to ensure goods move smoothly to and from the warehouse to third‑party destinations. This position acts as the central hub between suppliers, warehouses, carriers, and customers, handling documentation, troubleshooting shipping delays, and maintaining accurate records to optimize logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating with shipping companies, logistics partners, third‑party warehouses, freight carriers, and the warehouse team
- Tracking inventory levels and reconciling discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate data in transportation and warehousing inventory systems, such as SAP
- Identifying and resolving route inefficiencies or shipping delays
- Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations
- Managing bills of lading and other shipping documentation, such as packing lists and proof of delivery
- Preparing daily, weekly, or monthly logistics reports, including on‑time delivery reports
- Performing general administrative duties as required by the Warehouse Operations Manager
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Over 2 years of hands‑on experience operating in a GMP‑compliant environment, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards
- Proficiency in computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills to negotiate and communicate with collaborators
- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
- Ability to understand freight documentation and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with data analysis and inventory tracking software
- Experience in shipping, logistics/warehouse/inventory management roles
- DOT or hazardous materials shipment training or certification

CompensationSalary range: $79,200.00 – $. The employee’s position within the range will be based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business needs. Eligible candidates may receive annual bonuses and long‑term incentives, if applicable.
