2nd Shift Assembly

Primary Objective of Position

To prepare coils for the final stages of building and testing to meet quality specifications.

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to include proper use of required PPE.
• Bend, shape, cut, and solder wires/lugs.
• Attach wires using lugs/crimps.
• Perform sanding of wires as part of preparation process.
• Pull lead wires and sleeving.
• Use pneumatic/hydraulic crimping tools.
• Utilize lift assistance to handle products weighing more than 50 pounds.
• Participate in physical inventory activities.
• Meet established efficiency and productivity standards.
• Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
• Additional or updated duties as business demands change.

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, plans, drawings, shop aids, instructions, and examples.
• Good time management skills with the ability to organize work.

Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Working at a fast pace.
• Standing or walking for long periods of time.
• Manually handling up to 10 pounds often by lift/push/pull.
• Manually handling up to 50 pounds occasionally by lift/push/pull.
• Working with the various distractions of a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive work with hands requiring good hand dexterity and repetitive motions.
• Bending, stooping, reaching occasionally.
• Work in a small, narrow space.

Rate is $15/hr. w/$2 2nd shift diff

1st shift training: 6A-2:30P

2nd shift- 3P-11:30P

This is a 2nd shift job. Training is on 1st shift. Shift differential of $2/hr will be added after training and upon move to 2nd shift.
