Bookkeeper

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Bookkeeper for an equipment supplier in Raleigh, NC. This role focuses on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, working closely with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance. Additional responsibilities include office administration, travel bookings, and tracking shipments from the company’s German parent organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to improve workflow processes.

Responsibilities:

• Convert quotes from Quick Books Online (QBO) into purchase orders and invoices, including progress payment invoices.
• Prepare packing lists and shipping documents while tracking shipments from Germany to the U.S. and final destinations.
• Process Accounts Payable for weekly payouts and manage Accounts Receivable reports, providing action items to management.
• Maintain office operations, including supplies management, IT scheduling, travel bookings, and parking oversight.
• Track receipts for credit card purchases and create reimbursement billings in QBO.

Requirements:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred but not required).
• 5+ years of experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quick Books (Online and Desktop).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a desire to streamline processes.
