SUMMARY: This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a corporate accounting environment, working closely with accounting professionals on day-to-day operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
· Assist with various month-end close accounting tasks (ex. journal entries, amortization schedules, reconciliations, etc.)
· Support the year-end close processes; including engaging with internal and external audit partners
· Help maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy
· Conduct variance analysis and support budgeting efforts
· Participate in ad hoc projects and reporting tasks as needed
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Currently pursuing a BS or MBA/MS
· A major in a Business or IT field is desired

· Ability to clear the required background check

· Experience with Accounting/Bookkeeping is a plus

· Experience with system administration

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
:
Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work,required travel (if any), external market, and internal value whendetermininga new employee's salary level.
Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee'sbenefitselections.
Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
Weanticipatethe salary range to be $22 an hour.
Eligible employees may receive a bonus.
This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors.
These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
