Senior Accounting Manager

We are recruiting a Senior Accounting Manager for a rapidly growing company headquartered in the Raleigh area. This is a new role due to growth and great time to join. You will own key accounting areas, help refine policies and procedures, support audits, and lead monthly close operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced environment, ideal for someone with both public accounting and operational accounting experience.

• Lead daily and monthly accounting operations, including reconciliations and analyses across multiple accounts
• Oversee financial reporting processes and review monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements
• Manage external tax compliance partners and maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations
• Serve as primary contact for annual audits, preparing key deliverables and footnote disclosures
• Develop and mentor a small accounting team; ensure deadlines are met with quality and consistency
• Drive process improvements in collaboration with senior finance leadership; maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies
• Participate in ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives as the business scales
• Oversee monthly revenue recognition procedures and ensure proper alignment with ASC 606
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on revenue‑related transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA is required
• 5+ years of progressive experience to include public accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
