A nationally recognized consulting firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing Accounting & Compliance team. The organization supports scientists and entrepreneurs in securing and managing SBIR/STTR grants and other non-dilutive funding sources and has been recognized twice on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.
The OpportunityThis is a client-facing leadership role offering ownership of a portfolio of accounting and grant compliance engagements. You’ll work directly with founders and leadership teams to ensure GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and federal grant adherence—while supporting companies focused on scaling their innovations.
Ideal Background- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
- Clear communicator able to translate complex accounting concepts to non-accounting professionals
- Organized, adaptable, and client-service focused
- CPA or CPA eligible preferred
