Payroll Supervisor (multi-state) –

Raleigh, NC. Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.

• Hands‑on processing of payroll and related transactions, directly managing all aspects of payroll to ensure timely and accurate semi‑monthly processing of salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• Respond to routine inquiries concerning payroll deductions, wage garnishments, and earning verifications.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes to pay rates.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
• Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Plan, manage projects, and communicate to stay ahead of employee payroll needs.
• Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
• Work in conjunction with the Accounting department for payroll auditing.

• Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• Five to seven years of processing payroll for a multi‑state organization.
