Fund Accounting Supervisor, Private Equity

Overview

We are partnering with a leading private markets fund administration platform that provides specialized fund accounting, reporting, and operational support to General Partners and investment managers across private equity, venture capital, real estate, and fund-of-funds strategies.

The firm works with both emerging and established investment managers, delivering scalable fund administration solutions, technology, and operational expertise to support complex fund structures and growing investment platforms.

• Oversee fund accounting activities, including capital account maintenance and financial statement preparation
• Support audit and tax preparation processes in collaboration with clients and external advisors
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and partnership accounting activities
• Manage tracking and reporting of portfolio company investments and financings
• Support cash flow management, forecasting, and fund-level analysis
• Assist with quarterly reporting and investor communications
• Maintain accurate investor information within fund administration systems
• Collaborate with clients, auditors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members while contributing to process improvements

• Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred)
• 3+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent fund accounting experience
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
• Prior private equity, venture capital, or partnership accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Experience with fund accounting platforms or Quick Books is a plus
