Staff Accountant Job Duties
- Contribute to the monthly financial close process by preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, researching variances, and maintaining accounting records.
- Support financial reporting, audit requests, and ongoing accounting analysis to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
- Perform inventory reconciliations, review inventory transactions, support physical counts, and ensure the accuracy of inventory‑related accounting records.
- Analyze inventory variances, cost of goods sold, and cost trends while assisting with operational and manufacturing‑related reporting.
- Accounts payable activities, including vendor record maintenance, invoice processing, approval workflow coordination, payment administration, and resolution of vendor inquiries.
- Accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing, payment application, cash receipt reconciliation, account maintenance, collections support, and customer account reconciliations.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies, supporting system enhancements and automation efforts, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of accounting and reporting processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with in manufacturing, inventory, distribution, or product‑based environments is a plus.
- Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
- Organization, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.

Pay Details: $63,000.00 to $68,000.00 per year
