Data Validation Specialist
Engage in customer and account data entry for both new and existing accounts. Validate data by identifying inconsistencies, errors, duplicates, and missing information. Use established procedures to update and correct records. Ensure the accuracy of account information through auditing data setups. Maintain data integrity by working within databases and systems. Meet deadlines while efficiently handling multiple priorities. Collaborate with internal teams while predominantly working in systems and spreadsheets.
Responsibilities
- Enter customer and account data accurately for new and existing accounts.
- Validate data to identify and rectify inconsistencies, errors, duplicates, and missing information.
- Update and correct records using established procedures.
- Audit data setup to ensure accuracy of account information.
- Maintain data integrity within databases and systems.
- Meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams while primarily working in systems and spreadsheets.
Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with data entry, validation, auditing, or quality control.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google tools.
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with customer accounts.
- Very detail-oriented.
- Comfortable with 100% computer work without phone calls and minimal email exchanges.
- Confidence in meeting deadlines.
Work Environment
This role is fully in-office from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. You will primarily work independently, but will collaborate with the team for special projects.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
