Staff Accountant

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client in Raleigh, NC. The Staff Accountant must have strong accounting knowledge, strong excel skills, ability to communicate and work with operations and various departments, and good diligence. This position will report directly to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Support various areas of month end close processes including pulling supporting information for month end revenue analysis from billing software.
• Ability to prepare and post journal entries.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with interim and annual external audits.
• Preserve supporting documents to maintain compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
• Prepare supporting schedules for external auditors
• Assist with special projects assigned including new systems implementations.
• Perform analytical reviews of financial data during the month end close to identify and explain changes in trend!
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years Accounting experience required.
• GAAP knowledge & understanding
• Experience working with ERP systems;
  Sage Intacct & Ramp a plus
• Strong EXCEL skills to include VLOOKUPS, PIVOT TABLES, SUMIF and Conditional Formatting
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to Prioritize and manage deadline
