The Accounting Assistant owns the day-to-day bookkeeping across our portfolio of companies. This is a hands‑on, high‑volume position that spans the full accounting cycle in a complex, multi‑entity environment. The role reports directly to the Director of Finance.

Experience
3–5 years of full‑cycle bookkeeping or staff‑accounting experience required
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred; equivalent experience considered
Compensation
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus health insurance and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage accounts payable, including coding, entry, and payment runs
- Handle accounts receivable and client invoicing across multiple entities
- Perform bank reconciliations with accuracy and consistency
- Conduct collections follow‑up with clients and vendors
- Support month‑end close activities
- Maintain organized, accurate financial records across all entities
- Assist with ad‑hoc reporting and special projects as needed
Technical skill matters — and so does the way you work. The right person is:

- 3–5 years of full‑cycle bookkeeping or staff‑accounting experience
- Proficiency in Quick Books Online
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- A demonstrated track record of managing AP, AR, and reconciliations independently
- Experience as an accountant or bookkeeper within a consulting firm, marketing agency, retail business, or property management company
- Multi‑entity or intercompany accounting experience
- Interest in incorporating AI tools into accounting workflows
- Interest in growing professionally and taking on more responsibility over time
This is a substantive role with real ownership of the books. You will have direct visibility into a complex, multi‑company organization and will work closely with the Director of Finance. We offer a competitive total compensation package, including salary, health insurance, and paid time off.
