The North Carolina Department of Revenue is hiring a Support Specialist in the Excise Tax Division. This role focuses on assisting taxpayers by phone and in person with motor fuels and motor carrier tax information.
You may also greet walk-in taxpayers and help with questions while in the office. Responsibilities include guiding taxpayers in completing tax returns, issuing fuel decals, accepting remittances, and collecting delinquent payments.
