The Office Manager plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day success of the office by overseeing operations, financial processes, employee engagement initiatives, and client service. This position helps ensure the office runs efficiently while creating a positive experience for clients, attorneys, and staff that reflects Sodoma Law's core values of service, collaboration, integrity, and excellence.

As the operational backbone of the office, the Office Manager works closely with clients, attorneys, staff, vendors, and firm leadership to keep the office running smoothly while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
The successful candidate is highly organized, proactive, and accountable, with the ability to manage competing priorities while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. This is not a passive role. They are the person clients hear from when their account needs attention, the one who notices when something is off before anyone else does, and the connective tissue between leadership, staff, and the day-to-day life of the office.
They are comfortable having difficult conversations, holding others accountable, and driving issues to resolution while approaching challenges with professionalism, empathy, and a focus on results.
How You'll Contribute:
Drive financial accountability by managing accounts receivable, monitoring outstanding balances, coordinating client and vendor payments, and helping ensure the financial health of the office.
Support business performance and operational reporting by monitoring time entry compliance, tracking billable hour performance, preparing reports, and providing leadership with insights that support office goals and accountability.
Serve as a trusted resource for clients and attorneys by managing account-related communications, maintaining accurate client information, and supporting file management throughout the client lifecycle.
Lead employee engagement and community initiatives by coordinating Culture Crew activities, employee recognition programs, office events, sponsor ships, and opportunities that strengthen the firm's connection to the local community.
Manage office facilities and vendor relationships by overseeing workplace resources, coordinating maintenance and repairs, negotiating vendor services, and ensuring the office remains professional, organized, and welcoming.
Support talent and employee lifecycle activities by assisting with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, PTO administration, timekeeping, and other employee-related processes.
Partner with firm leadership to improve office operations through process improvement, project coordination, follow-up accountability, and proactive problem solving that supports the success of the office and its team members.
What Sets You Up for Success:3+ Experience in office management, legal administration, operations, finance, or a related professional environment preferred.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related financial processes.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients and prospective clients.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems proactively, and follow through on commitments.
Experience supporting employee engagement, recruiting, onboarding, or community involvement initiatives is a plus.
