Position OverviewThe Senior Property Accountant will support the accounting team during a 6-week assignment by managing reconciliations, payments, and month-end close processes. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, time management, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
- Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Calculate management fees using Excel with data pulled from Yardi.
- Assist with accounts payable and month-end close activities.
- Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Yardi (required).
- Strong problem-solving, relationship management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Highly motivated, proactive team player who can work with minimal supervision.
