Responsibilities
To facilitate the flow of organization information; to provide a positive, responsive environment for receiving internal and external customers by processing incoming and outgoing verbal and written communication to/for employees, patients, families, agencies, and all other persons having business with Holly Hill Hospital. Ensure telecommunications equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications Education / Training- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience as Switchboard Operator/Receptionist; preferably in a hospital or other institutional setting.
- None required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service to internal/external customers.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and tact.
- Pleasant and audible speech with good enunciation.
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to operate AT&T System 25 or 75 console, or similar.
- Ability to remain seated at switchboard for long periods of time without significant discomfort or distress.
- Basic Computer
Skills:
MS Word, Excel, Outlook. - Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.
