Fourscore Business Law is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative support to our attorneys, paralegals, and operations team. We’re looking for someone who thrives on details and takes pride in seeing projects through to completion. This position supports the team behind the scenes but may also include some client interaction, so clear communication and professionalism are a must.
The position will begin at 30 hours per week (6 hours, Monday–Friday) and will transition to full-time (40 hours/week) based on business needs and performance. The schedule is primarily in-office Tuesday through Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Monday and Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Own the full client intake process through execution of engagement letters
- Issue invoices for client projects
- Prepare and send signature requests for attorneys and paralegals
- Coordinate calendar scheduling for attorneys as needed
- Maintain Fourscore’s celebration rhythm (birthdays, anniversaries, Fourscore birthday)
- Coordinate team events, meetings, lunches, and other gatherings - handling all logistics
- Stay organized and maintain various trackers and internal logs
- Support operations and marketing as needed
- Take initiative in learning new processes and assisting ad hoc projects and tasks
· Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
· Reliable, responsible, and accountable - someone the team can count on
· Proactive and curious, willing to ask questions to ensure accuracy and quality work
· Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team
· Skilled at prioritizing tasks and meeting critical deadlines
· Comfortable using AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini) appropriately, with strong discretion and attention to confidentiality
- Microsoft Word (able to troubleshoot and fix formatting issues)
- Excel (able to build and maintain formulas)
- PowerPoint (able to create slides for meetings and events)
- Google Workspace
· Full-time:
Position will begin at 30 hours per week (6 hours, Monday–Friday) and will transition to full-time (40 hours/week) based on business needs and performance
· In-office:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (Raleigh office)
· Remote:
Monday and Friday
