Office Services Assistant – New Bern, NC

Ward and Smith, P.A. is a growing full-service law firm with multiple offices throughout North Carolina. We are seeking an Office Services Assistant to join our New Bern office.

Applicants should be multi-task oriented, have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment. Experience operating and maintaining various types of office equipment and operating a switchboard is required.

• External firm errands, interoffice delivery
• Processing of faxes, copies, proofing and processing mail
• Answering incoming calls to the office, routing calls accordingly
• Greeting and assisting clients
• Coordinating car rental reservations, placing lunch orders as needed for attorneys and clients
• Coordinating conference room and office reservations
• Maintaining lobby and conference room areas; accepting deliveries

• Minimum education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Full-time position; occasional night and weekend work may arise.
