Position Summary
The Grants & Projects Coordinator supports The Timothy Initiative’s mission to multiply disciples and plant churches among the unreached by coordinating and executing grant-related processes with institutional partners. This entry to mid-level role is primarily focused on project management, organization, and execution of the grant lifecycle, including research, content assembly, submission, and reporting.
This position requires exceptional project management skills, strong attention to detail, organization, and clear written communication abilities to manage multiple grant initiatives simultaneously. The coordinator serves as the central point of coordination for grant-related projects, ensuring timelines are established and maintained, stakeholders are engaged, deliverables are completed on schedule, and all submissions meet partner requirements. The coordinator works closely with internal teams to gather required information, manage competing priorities, and ensure all grant deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with partner expectations.

- Serve as the project manager for assigned grant opportunities, coordinating timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, and submission requirements from initiation through completion, while managing grant application and reporting schedules to ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals and reports for new and existing partners.
- Draft, edit, and compile grant letters of inquiry (LOIs), proposals, and reports using established content, data, and templates.
- Assemble and submit complete grant packages, including supporting documents such as budgets, attachments, and required documentation.
- Coordinate with field leaders and internal teams (Communications, Operations, Ministry staff) to gather necessary narratives, data, and supporting materials.
- Prepare grant and foundation reports responding to funder-specific requirements.
- Coordinate internal review processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment prior to submission.
- Maintain and manage a centralized calendar of deadlines to track all grant-related deliverables.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and internal systems, including logging all proposals, tracking submissions, reports, and partner communications.
- Partner with development and reporting teams to track deliverables and support accountability for partner requirements.
- Ensure timely acknowledgement of foundation gifts and support ongoing partner stewardship through accurate and consistent communication.
- Support progress toward annual funding goals by ensuring consistent execution of grant-related activities.
- Perform other administrative, coordination, and project-based tasks as assigned.
- Be a passionate follower of Jesus, with a heart for the Great Commission and alignment with TTI’s mission, vision, and values.
- College degree preferred.
- Experience in project coordination, administrative support, grant support, or similar role preferred.
- Exposure to nonprofit fundraising, grants, or reporting processes is helpful but not required.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Clear and effective written communication skills; ability to compile and organize information into structured documents.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing data, timelines, and documentation.
- Ability to follow established processes, systems, and templates.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams in a cross-cultural environment.
- Dependable, proactive, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain organized records and systems, including CRM tools and shared platforms.
- Professional communication and sound judgment when working with internal teams and external partners.
- Required to work in the Raleigh, NC office.
