Job DescriptionThis is a temporary position. No leave or retirement benefits are offered. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). The position is located at 114 West Edenton Street – Wake County with the Department of Justice.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.00 (based on education and/or years of relevant work experience).
Effective July1,2025, candidates meet the minimum qualifications if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification.
Job Duties- Organize and process mail for ACP participants, including occasional outreach to participants.
- Provide back‑up support to ACP staff who receive and process applications for new ACP participants.
- Assist with tracking and administrative support related to ACP recordkeeping.
- Perform all functions in‑office as part of the team in the Public Protection Section.
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An "equivalent combination" may be achieved with either years of education or directly related experience, or a combination of both.
